Code of Conduct

We know that The Hivery is a special place. One where kind, positive people who are inspired and want to inspire others, come together to work, learn, talk, mentor, hang out, and be collaborative and engaged.

The Hivery is an inclusive, harassment-free organization based on treating everyone with respect and kindness, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, physical ability or appearance, ethnicity, religious or political beliefs.

We believe that everyone is inspired and inspiring.

We try to do everything we can to ensure that only positive stuff occurs at The Hivery, and we are committed to making your experience a great one. We respect all who come to The Hivery, and assume everyone attends in good faith. We won’t attempt to list all the behavior that are unacceptable and inappropriate when you are interacting with your peers, in case we inadvertently exclude the one very thing that leads to an issue. It surely goes without saying however, that falsifying your identity, offensive comments, intimidation, stalking, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome attention, or any other interactions that make other Hivery members or visitors uncomfortable, are totally inappropriate.

We require that members and visitors of The Hivery join us with good intentions. Joining The Hivery, or using our content as a way of gathering information or insight on how to open your own co-working space or similar business, is not beneficial to the community, or our organization, and is not allowed. Joining The Hivery for any ill intent or harm to The Hivery is not allowed.

If you have any concerns whatsoever, about the comfort and safety of yourself or someone else, please contact The Hivery, at any time.

We fully endorse and encourage behavior that is inclusive, supportive, honest, and kind. If you do this, we would love to have you as part of The Hivery.
