About Betina Baumgarten

A native San Franciscan, Betina traded her fifteen year career dispensing legal advice for fashion advice in 2012, when she started Best Foot Forward (BFF), her fashion styling and wardrobe consulting business. Betina’s approach to styling is simple: it’s about dressing authentically and in a physique and fiscally flattering way, remembering that first impressions are easy to make and hard to shake: always put your best foot forward.

Betina routinely consults with both individuals as well as fashion brands including Gap Inc. brands, such as Piperlime, Intermix, Banana Republic and Athleta; as well as with Calypso St. Barth; and internet start-ups as well as private label designers, such as Phiren and Kim and Proper. Betina routinely consults with businesses about the importance of styling and branding when it comes to client acquisition, retention, marketing, and operations.  Most notably, Betina styled Oscar winning producer Blye Faust of “Spotlight” (Best Picture, 2016) for the awards season, as well as other nominees for the Academy Awards; has been featured in Marin Magazine’s August and October 2016 issues; and was one of only 4 stylists chosen to participate in the American Crafts Council National Convention’s inaugural event, “Style Slam,” in San Francisco, CA in August 2016.
