September’s Hivery Circle celebrates the power of creating new connections
We are excited to do something new at The Hivery Circle for October by hosting a Speed Connecting + Mentoring event.
We invite you to come and join us for a fun and interactive evening.
This is an event for everyone - for those of you who enjoy meeting new people and for those of you who at the thought of networking breaks you out in a cold sweat.
We are in a time when we are more globally connected to people around the world through social media, but more locally lonely. As a nation, many of us lack a sense of belonging and meaningful connection to those around us.
At this event we encourage you to step out of your comfort zone, be brave, and be prepared to enjoy the exhilaration of finding out more about someone else and learning more about yourself in the process. We will introduce fun ways to make an introduction and strike up a conversation (which can be painfully hard sometimes). You will also learn new tools about how to engage and ask questions that create a connection with someone new (or someone you have noticed from afar but haven’t struck up conversation with yet).
We will be doing our happy hour after the Speed Connecting (once you feel more relaxed) to allow everyone to keep the conversation going over wine by a local Qorkz partner, non-alcohol drinks and lite bites. This evening’s event is the perfect way to discover, celebrate and nurture #womendoingcoolstuff.
The Hivery Circle is one of The Hivery's monthly member events. Mark your calendar for the second Tuesday of each month from 7:00-9:00pm to join this program.
We know that life happens and things change. We will gladly offer you a full refund for a workshop or event when requested via email to firstname.lastname@example.org at least seven days prior to the event. Please note that no refunds will be given to cancellations made within a week of a workshop or event.
+ A note about Photography/Videography
