About Barbara Ahern

IMG_3420.jpg

Barbara started her vocation at the age of 40. She believes that in the field of natural medicine, practitioners are all in it for the same reason: to correct imbalances in the body, help alleviate pain, and address stress and anxiety.

After working with people for 15 years, Barb discovered an 84% correlation of physiology between people and dogs, validating that natural medicine benefits animals, too. So, she started working with dogs and designed Canine AcuTouch, a health and wellness program that addresses their issues.

Canine AcuTouch has been utilized for the intake of canines at Monterey County SPCA, and has just recently been introduced to Guide Dogs for the Blind - assisting those courageous canines who dedicate their lives to service.
