About Rachel Wynne
Rachel Wynne grew up spending her summers thirty miles out to sea on the tip of Cape Cod in the rural beach town of Truro, MA. Several years ago, inspired by the beauty and unique light of the Outer Cape, Rachel began to document the Atlantic through photography. Rachel was drawn to the clean linear and sometimes atmospheric horizon lines that are so unique to this part of the world. The Atlantic ocean constantly provides a new and often compelling visual narrative through color and light, capturing these varied moments is the driving force behind this series.
Rachel studied cultural anthropology and art history at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA and graphic design at Parsons School of Design in New York. She has always had an interest in all things visual. She lives in Mill Valley, CA and Truro, MA.
