About Rachel O'Connor
Rachel O’Connor is a certified yoga instructor and has been teaching yoga and mindfulness for 13 years, both in group and private settings. Rachel completed her initial certification with Alan Finger in New York City. She went on to do an additional 500-hour training with Robin Rothenberg at the Essential Yoga Therapy program in Seattle. She has done workshops and trainings with Nischala Joy Devi, Amy Weinberg, Mukunda Stiles, Rod Stryker, Mark Stephens, and Street Yoga. The training with Street Yoga prepared her to work with at-risk youth and with teens undergoing addiction treatment, which she did for three years while living in Seattle. Rachel now lives in California and teaches privately so that she can adapt each session to meet her client’s specific needs. Rachel is expanding her current practice to include working with youth again. She is passionate about helping kids and teens find the tools they need to help them navigate the daily challenges and stressors that they face. Rachel lives in Mill Valley with her sweet Golden, Sandy.
