Wellness Wednesday: Dia de Muertos Cacao Ceremony + Guided Meditation

SD_Soulscape_Retreat_2018_484.jpg

In this guided hour-long ceremony to celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day Of The Dead), Hivery member, Nicole Gnutzman, will offer a taste of her Cacao Medicine Journeys. The Day of the Dead is a day to honor our ancestors with festivities and food, including chocolate.

Nicole will share her ceremonial cacao drink, guided meditation and sacred music as she calls in (with her beautiful Buffalo drum) the directions and elements, our spirit animals, ancestors and spirit guides to join us and bring us their wisdom, guidance and medicine.

Feel free to bring an offering for the altar (flowers, food), a photo of an ancestor, and something special you would like blessed.

This session is one where we lie down and go on a guided journey, so there will be a few yoga mats available or you can bring your own. And if you prefer to do this in seated position that’s perfectly ok too. This form of meditation is relaxing and restorative, a perfect way to take a break from your screen, get grounded and begin your afternoon with clarity.

As seats are limited, advance online registration is required. Free for members. $20 for non-members. All are welcome!
