A supportive group of writers who gather together every month at The Hivery to share resources, wisdom, experiences, and receive writer-to-writer support!
Keep your writing projects in focus by attending The Hivery's monthly Writer's Circle. After each gathering, we continue to cheer each other on while writing at The Hivery, attending other Hivery community events, workshops and participating in our online forums. Come join us!
In November, we are excited to have transformative writing coach Melanie Vetter teaching a how to write love and gratitude letter workshop.
It’s easy to put off writing your deep thoughts and feelings. You’re busy. You worry about saying the right thing or how to say what you really feel. You mean to do it, but you just keep putting it off.
Sharing your love, gratitude, hopes and dreams shouldn’t be hard
You’re a great friend, sister, brother, daughter, son, mentor or parent and you want to share the feelings in your heart for the people you care about. You worry that the people who matter don’t really know how you feel and you want them to know.
You have stories and wisdom, hopes, dreams, love and gratitude to share with someone special. But you struggle for a great way to tell them – a way that they will hear, and also feel, all your love and gratitude.
Gratitude letters are a wonderful way to share your love and gratitude in a way that feels good for the reader and you.
Melanie will guide you through how to write one and how it can deepen your connection with a friend or a loved one during this special lunchtime workshop in the spirit of Thanksgiving.
The Writer's Circle is facilitated by Hivery Member, Thais Derich. Thais Derich's memoir—Second Chance: A Mother’s Quest for a Natural Birth after a Cesarean (She Writes Press, May 9, 2017)—was a finalist for the Foreword Reviews' 2017 Book of the Year Award. Second Chance was also a finalist for the Creative Non-Fiction Magazine’s Baby Anthology. Thais is an international writer and public speaker on "Being the Hero of Your Life" and "Seeing Invisible Choices" in childbirth and beyond! She is also the founder of the "Write Your Impact" book program.
