Meet the Hivery Team
GRACE KRAAIJVANGER, FOUNDER + CEO
As a former professional ballet and modern dancer, Grace's career began with the very fortunate experience of doing work that she loved and was passionate about.
As her career evolved from dancer to mother to marketer to founder of a women's collaborative work lab, she has always been committed to the mission of inspiring women to pursue those things that instill creativity, passion, and purpose.
Grace is a sought after speaker, visionary entrepreneur, artist, and community-maker.
Allison’s work has always been in the intersection of business, creativity, healing and meaning. She started her career in merchandising for Levi Strauss during the company’s heyday in the 90’s and then worked in hospitality and spa industry. This led her to create a state of the art, self-care centered program at California Pacific Medical Center. She was a partner in a multi-unit yoga business that became a leader in the emerging yoga lifestyle brands of the 2000’s, and which was later purchased by Yogaworks. Allison has held many leadership roles in community centered businesses and loves to combine her passion for creativity, hospitality, programming and events with her operations and sales acumen. When she isn’t working you can find her foraging for flowers, cooking nourishing meals for her family and close friends, or court side watching her son play basketball.
Rachel is a lifelong builder and connector, passionate about helping people make an impact. She co-founded Bluebelle Concierge in 2010, where she led strategic partnerships and communications for corporate and private clients throughout the Bay Area for six years. After launching a number philanthropic initiatives through Bluebelle and on her own, Rachel worked for several local nonprofits, notably the JCC East Bay and Dalai Lama Fellows, and has held volunteer leadership roles with Spark and currently serves on the board of the Alliance for Girls. Rachel is a Bay Area native and enjoys exploring local beaches and parks with her husband and Wheaten Terrier!
Susan comes to The Hivery with more than 20 years of experience as a creative entrepreneur specializing in marketing, graphic design, branding, product development, and strategy. Her career has included working with creative companies like Chronicle Books and founding businesses including SGS Design Studio, a graphic design firm, and Kimochis, a line of educational products for children. Susan has a passion for team-building, creative thinking, and collaboration. She is somewhat obsessed with typography, fitness classes, books, her amazing daughters, the Warriors, and exploring the trails of Marin with her beloved dogs and husband.
Kim is a visual storyteller. After telling stories as a character animator on award winning visual effects films and commercials for many years in her native Canada and here in California at Industrial Light + Magic (Lucasfilm), Kim continues to create visual narratives through her photography. Her current projects encompass her love of natural light, food, and lifestyle portraits of makers and creative entrepreneurs with their work.
When she’s not at The Hivery working with the team on creative projects and marketing support, she will most likely be with her husband, daughter and their silly dog on a beach somewhere.
Marti is inspired every day by #womendoingcoolstuff at the Hivery, and is thrilled to be here keeping the operations running smoothly and helping members make the most of their experience! She is passionate about empowering women and girls around the globe and finds the Hivery a perfect place to learn more and explore these opportunities.

She has held leadership roles on the Marin County Women’s Commission, the Marin Teen Girl Conference and on the Board of Directors for the Marin Girls Chorus.
She and her family have been long time puppy raisers for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Marti and her husband are parents of two wonderful young adults, and live in San Rafael.
