Claude at Work: Hand Off Your First Real Task to AI
Hosted by The Hivery & Elizabeth Welborn
Tuesday, February 2 | 12 – 1 PM
The Hivery Mill Valley | 475 Miller Ave, Suite A, Mill Valley, CA 94941
Bring your lunch, your laptop, and one task you’ve been putting off. In this hands-on hour, you’ll learn how professionals and small business owners use Claude, Anthropic’s AI assistant, to draft, summarize, analyze, and plan or workflow. After instruction and demonstration, you will have a build session to begin with your work. You’ll leave with one finished piece of work, an understanding as to how to manage your data and how to confidently approach a project with AI, and a clear sense of what to hand to AI and what to keep. No technical experience needed.
Before you arrive: Create a free account at claude.ai and pick one real task to bring. (If you are a ChatGPT or Gemini user, we have you covered, too!) Good examples are an email you need to write, a document to summarize, a proposal to outline, or a spreadsheet to make sense of. Suggested but not needed, download the Claude Desktop application to work outside of your browser. We will go over privacy settings at the beginning of the event to help you feel confident in how to use the tools.
