The Democracy Hour is a monthly gathering of local women who believe deeply in democracy, and in the power of showing up and taking meaningful action.

June: Midterms 2026 Summer Series!

Now that the primaries are over, and the national election looms, what do we do? How can we leverage our time, money, and other resources to make a difference?

For our first meeting in the summer series, we’ll look at specific ways we can tap into the power we have as citizens, inspired by the book We Are the Power to Win the Future by Gary A. Lucks, community organizer and attorney. 

Whether you're feeling hopeful or discouraged, or simply curious, gathering in community with like-minded people is powerful in itself. 

This is a safe, supportive space to learn together and build community through thoughtful conversation, shared curiosity, and collective values. Inspiring speakers, film screenings, issue spotlights, action sessions, and other events are in the works!

Since this is during the lunch hour, feel free to bring your lunch along.
