Goals and Dreams - Looking Back, Moving Forward

December Workshop with Melanie Vetter

Join Melanie Vetter, journaling, story and life coach, to reflect and journal on your Goals and Dreams for the new year. The new year is often a time to set goals for the future, but as we approach January, we’ll take time to look both ways. Reflect on what is ending as well as dream about what is beginning.

2020 has been a year of massive change. You'll start by looking back, reflecting on how you managed struggle and how you found joy, even in a pandemic. Your past, your experience, your stories have a lot to teach you about who you are, what strengths you have, how we get through hard times, and how you achieve great things and find great joy. When you look at the past, you can understand where you struggled and why, what you’d like to release or have less of in your life and what gave you the most joy or created energy, engagement and growth.

Next you’ll look forward and explore your dreams for 2021. You’ll dive into what you want in your life in the coming year. What does that actually look like for you? What can you do in the next three months to have more of what you want? You don’t need resolutions, just little steps you can take each day that move you closer to a life you love.

You'll leave this workshop with:

  • A direction forward

  • Tools to keep you on track

  • How to use reflective journaling to learn and grow from your own stories

Meet Melanie

Hello, I’m Melanie Vetter, a journaling, story and life coach, and I believe reflecting on your story is the key to the life you want.

Your stories connect you with your authentic self and with the people you love. And by reflecting on and writing your stories, you find greater authenticity, engagement, resilience, connection, gratitude, and joy.

You gain clarity on what you want — and how to get it. You don’t have to think of yourself as a writer or storyteller to find meaning or share stories with impact.

I guide you through intentional processes to find the answers waiting for you in your stories. I encourage you to go as deep as you like to find your aha moments. I witness your hard stories and celebrate your triumphs—and everything in between. And I bring compassion, deep listening — and fun — to the process.
